Audley Book Launch

Working with the Neighbourhood Road Safety Initiative (NRSI), the women's group explored road safety issues relevant in their local area. Then they worked with D2 Design to produce a series of children's books to educate their peers.
Our role was to engage the group in producing an exhibition to show people attending the book launch how the group had come to produce the 4 books.
As this was a follow up project it meant the group had time to reflect and consolidate their learning from the book project.
During the sessions the group had the opportunity to develop their own collage, craft and photography skills. The display will be toured around other local centres to aid the distribution and promotion of the books.
The project was funded through Blackburn with Darwen Children's Services, Blackburn Diocese and the NRSI.
