How Action Factory works

The core staff work closely with our freelance community arts professionals to develop and manage projects in partnership with communities, statutory and voluntary agencies. The community arts professionals who work with Action Factory Community Arts have a wide range of skills, knowledge and experience and all are committed to the company's vision and principles.

The first stage of any project is an initial meeting to explore the ideas and issues that the work will centre on. Agreement is reached about the scope and nature of the project; the budget, the timescale, the form and content of the work and the monitoring and evaluation methods.

At this stage Action Factory Community Arts can advise or work with you to attract additional funding for a project.
