Twin Valley Homes % for Art Mosaic

Action Factory were given a brief to design and create an exterior piece of public artwork for the courtyard of Twin Valley Homes' new building in Blackburn - Prospect House. The building has an excellent view over the courtyard, then the canal and the valley of Blackburn and the design for the mosaic reflects this view. The project provided practical experience for artsworkers who had attended mosaic training sessions at Action Factory. The piece includes a poem written by a local writer, fabricated work from local businesses and designs by young artists from the now closed project Art House.
